The Ferry Building is one of the most easily accessed locations in the Bay Area. You can reach it by all BART lines, many MUNI lines, the F Market Streetcar, the California Street Cable Car line, and several ferry lines. For Sausalito, Oakland, Alameda, Vallejo, and Larkspur ferries, terminals are located behind the Ferry Building. Tickets for the Oakland/Alameda, Tiburon & Vallejo Ferries can be purchased at the Bay Crossing shop at the Ferry Building. There are a variety of parking options within a radius of a few blocks from the Ferry Building. Validated Parking is available at the Washington Embarcadero Lot just across from the Ferry Building. Additional parking is available in the Golden Gateway Garage, which is bounded by Washington, Clay, Drumm and Battery Streets. Entrance is on Clay St. between Battery and Front Streets. There is no high-top van parking. Metered street parking is available on the Embarcadero, Washington, Folsom & Drumm Streets.
Valet parking is offered in front of the building Mondays through Fridays from 9:30am to 10 pm.There is no valet on Saturdays or Sundays.
The Embarcadero has a large bike lane and is easily accessed by bicycle. There are bike racks located in front of and behind the building. We recommend that you use a kryptonite U-lock as there have been incidents of cable-clipping! For bike lane maps and cycling information, go to www.sfbike.org
There is a bike valet on SATURDAYS ONLY across the street at the Harry Bridges median across from Market Bar.
